    SPRING PROGRAM PLAYER REGISTRATION OPENS NOVEMBER 1st!


 

SOUTHSIDE LACROSSE LEAGUE

Southside Lacrosse League provides a US Lacrosse-based structure that gives student-athletes the opportunity to play the sport in a way that’s best for each stage of growth and development.

Introductory clinics, boys' developmental programs and girls' developmental programs are offered for those who are new to the sport. These beginner level programs focus on teaching the skills needed to proceed to league competition.  

 

The Southside Lacrosse Spring League includes the following divisions:

What can Players & Families expect from Southside Lacrosse?

  • Trained, Certified & Background-Verified Coaches

  • A structure designed to work as closely as possible in alignment with the current high school team zones

  • Close-to-Home practices

  • Skill development programs for first-time and beginner-level players; Boys grades 1 - 8 and Girls grades 2 - 8

  • Co-Ed “Lacrosse Monsters” program for boys and girls ages 5 - 8, designed to teach young players the basic lacrosse skills needed to advance to the next level of play

  • Courteous, professional staff available to assist families with answers and information

  • Implementation of US Lacrosse Athlete Development Model for Boys & Girls Youth Teams - learn more!

Southside Lacrosse Program Goals

  • Increase elementary & middle school participation in the sport of lacrosse

  • Develop a pipeline of players feeding into the current high school club teams

  • Develop player affinity and awareness of their prospective high school team

  • Afford a structure for high school coaches to assist in recruiting players

  • Player development within gaining high school zones

  • Play competitive lacrosse in a JJV format while complying with US Lacrosse
